Brief history:

It was in the depths of Zhufbar that Alarik Ironhelm first stood firm, shoulder to shoulder, with his fellow Ironbreakers. But one does not become an Ironbreaker overnight. Alarik's clan first marched under Skalgrim Ironaxe, a local chieftain during the time of King Kurgan Ironbeard. As a beardling Alarik was a fine warrior, and worked his way up the ranks. As Alarik was one of the Dwarves within Zhufbar that honored the old ways, he was made to instruct the beardlings in the way of the axe. After 123 years Alarik was formally recognized as a longbeard of Zhufbar, and was later admitted into the ranks of the Ironbreakers. Believing that new fangled inventions will never eclipse the tried and true gromril and axe Alarik is one of the old breed of Dwarves that reside within the engineering capital of the Dwarven Empire, Zhufbar.

GENERAL QUESTIONS:
Why do you want to join? - Ruryk posted a response when I introduced myself as a new Dwarven warrior on the WAR forums. I later sent him a message in game, and we had a good Roleplaying session. I thought this sounded like a great guild to be in from the time that I talked with him. I also have a good knowledge of Warhammer Dwarven Lore. They have been my table top army for about 10 years now. So this guild seemed like a good fit.
